Lynne Arriale and USF Faculty Jazz Ensemble Play Tampa Jazz Club Concerts at Springs Theatre


Tampa Jazz Club concerts this fall have been relocated to the Springs Theatre in Sulphur Springs, a beautiful recording studio/concert venue located in an old movie theatre.

Below is the official release on the shows, scheduled for 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 26 and Sunday, Nov. 23.

(between Bird St. & the Hillsborough River, 1 block east of I-275)

The USF FACULTY JAZZ ENSEMBLE, directed by Jack Wilkins


Enjoy a rare chance to hear this exciting 7-piece band, in a concert featuring music by USF Faculty and original treatments of jazz standards.

With JACK WILKINS and VALERIE GILLESPIE, saxophone; JAY COBLE, trumpet; TOM BRANTLEY, trombone; LARUE NICKELSON, guitar; MARK NEUENSCHWANDER, bass; and IAN GOODMAN, drums.
$20 / $15 for Jazz Club members, $5 student

This will be her first solo concert in the Tampa Bay Area, where her trio performances have been among the outstanding jazz events of recent years.

After several great years at the Gorilla Theater, the Tampa Jazz Club concert series moves to the historic Springs Theater, a recording studio and performance venue dedicated to quality music in a charming and congenial setting. Convenient, free parking outside theateror at the adjacent Harbor Club.
