Remembering (Music Critic) Robert Palmer

Robert Palmer, one of the most insightful, important and influential of the old-school rock critics, died a decade ago. Several tribute sites are available, as James Hale recently pointed out on JazzHouse, home of the Jazz Journalists Association.

Below is Hale's post:

November 20 marked the 10th anniversary of music critic Robert Palmer's death, and to commemorate the occasion his widow, Jo Beth Briton, has launched a web site about him: http://web.mac.com/britonpalmer/Briton_Palmer_Memorial/Welcome.html

In other Palmer news, his daughter Augusta has launched a website devoted to her forthcoming film about her father's celebrated 1971 trip to Morocco: www.thehandoffatima.com/

Finally, there's another tribute to Palmer on the site Rockcritics.com: http://rockcritics.com/2007/11/19/deep-blues-missing-robert-palmer-a-critical-tribute/#more-103
