Darjeeling

Boy, do I love the poster for The Darjeeling Limited, the new Wes Anderson film.

I caught the preview screening, and I must say ... Anderson's sense of sorrow-tinged whimsy, perfectly tuned in Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums, but badly off-kilter in 2004's The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, has been restored.

More on this later, but ... here's the poster, which offers a hint of the striking art design and color schemes of one of the season's oddest, funniest and most strangely endearing films.
