Harry Crews' The Gypsy's Curse -- Movie

I neglected to mention that another film adaptation of a Harry Crews novel will hit theaters at some point, probably later this year.

Johnny Depp, Harvey Keitel and Vanessa Paradis (aka Johnny Depp's wife) star in The Gypsy's Curse, a French production directed and co-written by Philippe Decoufle, probably best known for directing the New Order video "True Faith," included in the clip collection "New Order: Substance." Also listed as a co-writer of the screenplay is Sarah Levy.

IMDB links to a 2004 blurb (below) about the film, unofficially released in 2005, but I've been unable to find much else, anywhere, about the movie:

Hollywood husband and wife Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis are to star together in a new movie. Depp will play a gypsy and Paradise a dangerous temptress in an $18 million adaptation of Harry Crews novel The Gypsy's Curse. The film, due to start shooting in August, will tell the tale of a disabled man who falls under the spell of Paradis' femme fatale and is warned of his fate by Depp. Only last month, Depp claimed he had no plans to appear on screen with his wife. He said, "If something were to come up, that would be great. But actively looking for it - no. I like keeping things separate - she does her work, I do mine."

Rotten Tomatoes lists Depp and Paradis as co-starring, but makes no mention of Keitel.
